FAQs

Do you take insurance?

In our office, we have made the decision not to accept insurance for several reasons. Firstly, we believe in providing a more personalized and flexible approach to care. Insurance policies often come with restrictions that can limit treatment options or dictate the frequency of visits. By not involving insurance, we can tailor our treatments to meet each patient's unique needs without being constrained by insurance guidelines.

Secondly, avoiding insurance allows us to keep our costs down. Insurance companies typically require a significant amount of paperwork and bureaucracy, which can drive up administrative costs. By simplifying our billing process, we can focus more on patient care rather than dealing with insurance claims and reimbursements.

Lastly, we prioritize transparency in our pricing. When patients know exactly what they are paying for, it fosters a clearer understanding of the services they receive. We aim to create a straightforward and honest relationship with our patients regarding costs, which can often be obscured in traditional insurance setups. Overall, our focus is on providing high-quality, individualized care that is accessible and clear for our patients.

How can I pay for my services?

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • HSA/FSA accounts

  • Cash App

  • Zelle

  • Debit/credit cards

Do you take walk in appointments?

We are an appointment based clinic only. All patients are able to check the calendar daily to see which location Dr. Jazmine will be at that day and the times available. The calendar is open two weeks in advance to accommodate all patients as best as possible.

Do you have a no-call no-show policy?

Yes, we do. At Buzz and Bloom Wellness Center, we understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to provide the best service possible to all our clients, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If this is not possible, please call, text, or email the clinic immediately.

- **No-Show Fee**: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and fail to provide prior notice, you will be charged a no-show fee of 50% of any service booked that will be charged during your next appointment. This fee helps us compensate for the time allocated to your appointment that could have been offered to another client.

Do I need X-ray imaging prior to my first visit?

During your first chiropractic visit, you typically will not need X-rays for several reasons:

1. **Initial Assessment**: The primary focus of the first visit is to assess your symptoms and medical history through a thorough consultation and physical examination. This helps the chiropractor understand your condition better without the need for imaging.

2. **Patient's Specific Needs**: Many patients seek chiropractic care for common issues like tension, discomfort, or minor injuries that may not require X-rays. The chiropractor can often identify areas of concern through physical tests and by discussing your symptoms with you.

3. **Non-Invasive Approach**: Chiropractors often take a conservative approach initially. If they determine that X-rays or other imaging are necessary based on your condition, they will discuss this with you regarding the best next steps.

4. **Cost and Time**: Avoiding unnecessary imaging during the initial visit can save you both time and costs, making it more convenient and efficient to start your chiropractic care.

5. **Follow-Up**: If your chiropractor believes that additional imaging is warranted after the initial assessment, they will outline the reasons and potential benefits, ensuring you are informed every step of the way.

Overall, the first visit is mostly about understanding your concerns and starting your journey toward wellness without the immediate need for X-rays.
